What We Need For This Craft Activity, STEAM Activity

 

For The Lollipop Ghost

• Lollipops
• Tissue paper or cocktail napkins for the ghost’s covering
• Rubber bands or string to secure the covering
• Markers or stickers for decorating the ghosts

For The Name Tag

• Orange colored paper
• Black colored paper
• Glue
• A hole punch
• Scissors
• Rubber bands
• (Optional) googly eyes and glue or a black marker to draw pumpkin face features

 

How to Do the Craft Activity, STEAM Activity, Make Lollipop Ghosts For Halloween (With Name Tags)

For The Lollipop Ghost

1. Wrap the Ghost: Take a piece of tissue paper or cloth and place it over the lollipop. Ensure it completely covers the lollipop.

   

2. Secure with Rubber Band: Use a rubber band or string to wrap around the base of the lollipop where the tissue paper is. This will create the head of your ghost.

   

    

3. Draw Face Features On The Ghost: Use markers or stickers to add eyes, a mouth, or any other spooky features to your ghost.

 

For The Name Tag

1. Make a Pumpkin Shaped Name Tag: Draw a pumpkin shape on the orange paper, then cut it out.

   

   

2. Draw Pumpkin Face Features: On the black paper, draw eyes, a nose, and a mouth, then cut them out. If you wish, you can use googly eyes and glue them instead of drawing.

   

3. Glue the Face Features: Attach the black cut-out face features to the orange pumpkin.

   

4. Make a Hole: Use a hole punch to make a hole on the pumpkin.

   

5. Write On The Name Tag: On the bag of the name tag, write ‘To’ and ‘From.

   

6. Attach the Name Tag: Use a string to connect the pumpkin name tag to the lollipop ghost

   

    

7. Enjoy: Your lollipop ghost is now ready! You can use it as a Halloween decoration or give it out to your child’s classmates as a tasty Halloween treat.

 

Variations & Challenges
